For the Academy of Fine Arts in ??d?, two modern buildings were built to house the Fashion Promotion Centre and the Science and Arts Centre. Both these facilities are characterised by their unique design and original fa?ade. The investment project included the installation of a comfort air conditioning system.

Klima-Therm Group, as part of the tender proceedings, proposed a solution based on 6 Fujitsu Airstage VRF V-II systems with a total cooling capacity of 263 kW (9 outdoor modules, 43 indoor units) and 10 Split air conditioners with a capacity of 95 kW. Fujitsu AJYA72LALH and AOY30UB units provide cool air to two air handling units operating in the facilities. Air-conditioning in the buildings of the Academy of Fine Arts is controlled by a BMS system which uses the LonWORKS module.

The Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer is a new facility of Warsaw University of Technology, which houses, among others: lecture halls, seminar rooms, studios, laboratories, workshops and the so-called open space’y.

The facility was provided with a chilled water system, which is based on the Klima-Therm by Clint unit and 3 Klima-Therm by Clint condensing units cooperating with Klimor roof air handling units. The Fujitsu Split and Mutli Split units with a capacity of approx. 40 kW were mainly used for air conditioning of technical rooms.

LabFactor is a new educational building of the Faculty of Process and Environmental Engineering at the Lodz University of Technology, with laboratories equipped with high-quality equipment.

Fujitsu Split units and the Fujitsu Airstage VRF V-II comfort air conditioning system were installed in the building. Two VRF systems consisting of 6 outdoor units and 40 internal cassette, wall-mounted and ceiling units are operated by means of the UTY-DTGY central controller provided with a touch screen.

The cooperation of Klima-Therm Group with the Lodz University of Technology resulted in two investments. As part of the works linked to the construction of a 5-storey educational and laboratory facility of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering called the Factory of 21st Century Engineers, the company equipped the building with an air conditioning system designed using 5 Klima-Therm by Clint condensing units (of type MHA/K 61, 71, 262, 302, 393) with a total cooling capacity of 318 kW.

Klima-Therm Group has also completed a project for the Institute of Technical Biochemistry located on the 6th floor of the seven-storey building at 4/10 Stefanowski Street. The investor was offered a solution based on a system consisting of 5 Fujitsu Airstage VRF V-II comfort air conditioning systems (8 outdoor modules, 71 indoor wall-mounted and ceiling units). There are also 4 Klimor air conditioning and ventilation units (of type MCK5P50-111, MCK3L50-41, MCK4P50-56/-82).

The Polish Centre for Technology Development boasts the most comprehensive research infrastructure in Central and Eastern Europe, and is equipped with the latest laboratory equipment.

For some of the educational and laboratory buildings, Klima-Therm Group supplied 6 MultiPower chillers from the Klima-Therm by Clint brand with a total cooling capacity of 3.7 MW, including 2 largest devices provided with the Free Cooling option. As many as 14 Fujitsu Split units with a total capacity of 85 kW, dedicated to technical rooms, were also installed in the facility.

The Regional Information Centre (RCI) is a showcase of the University of Warmia and Mazury. This investment which cost over PLN 96 million was financed from the European Union funds under the Operational Programme for the Development of Eastern Poland 2007?2013. The RCI complex includes five buildings with a different number of floors (from 1 to 4), total usable area of 8,047 m² and cubic volume of 45,898.58 m³.

Klima-Therm Group supplied 12 Fujitsu Airstage VRF cooling systems from the V-II series comprising 31 outdoor units and 199 indoor units: 115 cassette, 70 wall-mounted and 14 ceiling units. The total cooling capacity of the units supplied is as high as 1127 kW. For the investor, an important advantage of the Fujitsu system was the low noise level of indoor units, which does not interfere with the work of students and researchers, as well as a flexible and economical solution ensuring the comfort of air in all the rooms used. Thanks to the low inertia of the system, the desired temperature parameters are achieved very quickly.

The British School is an international prestigious educational institution founded in Warsaw in 1992 by Nord Anglia Education.

During the renovation of one of the wings of the school on Limanowskiego Street, Group Klima-Therm supplied VRF Airstage V-ll comfort air conditioning systems for classrooms and offices. Several Multi Split systems with elegant indoor wall-mounted units from the LU series were also installed.

Until 2013, the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Gda?sk was located in a building from the start of the 20th century. Currently, the facility occupies the premises in a newly built modern building at Wita Stwosza Street. Its structure is characterised by a segmented design integrated with a pedway.

The department?s chemical laboratories are fitted with Fujitsu air conditioning devices. The air conditioning system was designed on the basis of the VRF V-II and J-II system comprising 8 units in total. The solution is complemented by Multi-8 systems (4 units), Multi Split (1 unit) and Split air conditioners. The comfort air conditioning system in laboratories consists of nearly 100 indoor units.

The new building of the Institute of Biotechnology, which houses, among others, specialist laboratories, as well as seminar and computer rooms, is the most modern scientific and educational building of the University of Gda?sk. This five-storey building (4 above-ground and 1 underground) has a usable area of approx. 8,000 m2.

Klima-Therm Group supplied 2 Klima-Therm by Clint chillers to the Faculty of Biotechnology, which cooperate with over 200 fan coil units. Fujitsu Split units for air conditioning of technical rooms and laboratories were installed, as well as 22 Klimor air handling units: hygienic MCKH (16 pcs.), standard MCKS (5 pcs.) and suspended units.

The Jagiellonian University Medical College, which comprises numerous medical faculties, is the oldest and one of the largest institutions of this type in Poland. In 2012, Collegium Medicum, in partnership with the Institute of Pharmacology of the Polish Academy of Sciences, was awarded the prestigious status of the National Scientific Leadership Centre in the field of medical sciences.

This was the first such status awarded in Poland, and it was issued for a period of five years. The investment aimed at the modernisation of Collegium Medicum included, among others, equipping administrative rooms, lecture halls and laboratories with an air conditioning system. Klima-Therm Group suggested the use of Fujitsu Airstage VRF V-II devices within the facility. The air conditioning design included the installation of 3 VRF systems (type of units: AJY216LALH, AJY198LALH, AJY216LALH) serving a total of 89 indoor units, mainly of the wall-mounted type. The contract was acquired as a result of a tender procedure.

The Faculty of Technical Sciences was created in 1999 at the newly established University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. The institution conducts educational activity in eight faculties: Construction, Technical and IT Education, Power Industry, Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Agriculture and Forestry Engineering.

As part of the investment co-financed by the European Union, the educational facility was equipped with Fujitsu Airstage VRF V-II comfort air conditioning consisting of 3 systems comprising a total of 7 outdoor units and 99 indoor units (wall-mounted and compact cassette units). The nominal capacity of the equipment installed is 282 kW.

The facility currently houses three Institutes: the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Institute of Economics and Computer Science and the Institute of Health Sciences, which educate students in six faculties: economics, philology, pedagogy, nursing, mathematics, computer science and cosmetology.

The installation of an air conditioning system in the university building at Ga?czy?ski Street was carried out during the modernisation works of the facility, which included the extension of the lecture hall, among others. Klima-Therm Group supplied a solution based on 5 Fujitsu Multi Split systems (5 outdoor units, 15 indoor units) and 3 Klima-Therm by Clint condensing units of MHA/K 131, 151 and 181 type.
